I am a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) who graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 1995. My journey into veterinary medicine began when I was 6 years old when my parents bought me a pony. That special bond sparked my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian so I could care for animals, and while that pony was long gone by the time I reached veterinary school, the dream never faded.
My areas of special interest include dentistry, internal medicine, and pain management. What I love most about being a veterinarian is the opportunity to help people care for their pets. It's incredibly fulfilling to know I've made a difference in someone's life. For me, veterinary medicine goes beyond just treating animals - it's about building meaningful relationships with both my clients and their beloved pets. These connections are truly the heart and soul of veterinary medicine.
When I'm not at the clinic, you might find me spending time with my 6-year-old Appaloosa horse named Bindi, who earned his name thanks to his distinctive spots. I'm fluent in both English and French, allowing me to serve our diverse community of pet owners.
My approach to veterinary care focuses on developing strong connections with my clients, finding common ground, and continuously learning about their unique situations. This relationship-centered philosophy helps me provide the best possible care for both pets and their people.
