After starting in human nursing, I realized my true passion lies with animal patients, leading me to switch to the veterinary field so I atteneded the Universtiy of British Columbia Animal Science progam. 

What I love most about my job is the incredible team I work with and the supportive environment we’ve created. We work hard but always find ways to have fun. We focus on fear-free and low-stress handling of  patients. Our clients are some of the kindest people, even during the most challenging times. Plus, I have a collection of orchids at work that brings me joy every day!

The veterinary field offers endless opportunities for continuing education, which keeps my curiosity alive and my brain happy. I’m especially interested in nursing, anesthesia, behaviour, pharmacology, and hands-free radiology.

Outside of work, I enjoy ballroom dancing, ballet, and Zumba—I even dreamed of being on "Dancing with the Stars" one day. My fur fmaily is made up of my giant standard poodle named Marlow, my tuxedo cat named Florence, and a flourishing collection of indoor and outdoor plants (with -you guessed it - more orchids!)
